Fulton is a graduate of Western Michigan University. From 1989 to 2012, Fulton owned and operated Sheen Financial with his wife Cheryl. Fulton was elected Treasurer in Allegan County, Michigan in 1996 and again in 2000, where he managed the county’s fifty-five million dollar portfolio. From 2002 to 2008, Fulton served three terms in the legislature as Michigan’s 88th District State Representative. While in the legislature Fulton served on the following committees: Insurance and Financial Services, Government Operations, Regulatory, Children & Family Services and Tax Policy which he chaired.
In 2006, Fulton formed Isaiah 58:12, a non-profit 501(c) (3) disaster relief organization. Fulton is a FEMA certified Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) member and trainer, and has been teaching the Citizen Corps CERT trainings since 2009. Fulton and Isaiah 58:12 trained over 1500 new CERT volunteers to assist first responders in search and rescue, triage & first-aid, terrorist mitigation and other aspects of disaster relief.
Currently, Fulton heads a customer service company which provides assistance to financial service providers. Futon & Cheryl also own and operate F&C Enterprises which assists people in the purchase of tangible assets such as precious metals, bulk food, and other commodity based purchases.
Fulton serves on a number of boards including, the MI National Federation of Independent Business Leadership Council, Michigan Citizen Corp and Transformation Michigan. Fulton also speaks across the nation on economic and financial issues, Sovereign Debt Crisis, world markets, taxation, alternative financial structures and disaster relief and preparation.
